Saturday, Oct. 19

Homecoming Kickoff & Food Fest

5:00-6:00 p.m.
Adams Alumni Center

Kick off Homecoming Week with a feast at Food Fest, featuring snacks from the Student Alumni Network’s Restaurant Partners! Enjoy live performances by KU bands and grab your FREE Homecoming T-shirt!

 


Monday, Oct. 21

Decor Competition

All day
Campus

Student groups and campus organizations compete in the decor competition by decorating their home on the Hill according to the Homecoming theme to be judged later that evening.

 


Tuesday, Oct. 22

Chalk & Rock

9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Wescoe Beach 

Chalk & Rock is a historic Homecoming event where student groups and campus organizations create chalk murals that represent themselves and the Homecoming theme.

 


Wednesday, Oct. 23

Wellness Wednesday

11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Adams Alumni Center

Join fellow Jayhawks for Wellness Wednesday! Health educators from Watkins Health Services’ Health Education Resource Office will provide alcohol education information. Games, food and T-shirts will be available.

Jayhawk Jingles

5:30 -7 p.m.
Adams Alumni Center

Jayhawk Jingles is a popular Homecoming event that pits student groups against one another to create the best skit or musical performance. Popular songs are changed to Jayhawk-themed acts.

NPHC Divine Nine Plot Dedication

5:30-7:30 p.m.
Burge Union Commons

This dedication will highlight the significance of our National Pan-Hellenic Council chapters at the University of Kansas.

 


Thursday, Oct. 24

TRIO SES & STEM Great Mug Giveaway

9 a.m.- 2 p.m.
Strong Hall, Rooms 6 & 7

Stop by this popular event for hot chocolate and cider. Choose your own mug to keep from more than 500 options! Plus, check out the incredible Homecoming decorations.

UNIV 101 Mentoring Event

3-4 p.m.
Adams Alumni Center

An event for first year students in UNIV 101 classes. Hear from alumni on the KU mentoring platform talk about their first year at KU and ask them questions about how you can make the most of your first year on campus. This event is co-hosted by the Office of First-Year Experience.

KU Black Alumni Reunion Weekend

The biennial KU Black Alumni Reunion takes place during Homecoming Weekend. The weekend includes the Leaders & Innovators Awards Ceremony, tailgate and more. For more information or to register for events, visit the KU Black Alumni website.

SAN Home Football Friday

KU students, stop by the Adams Alumni Center for Home Football Friday, presented in partnership with Truity Credit Union! Enjoy free food from Salty Iguana and Hot Box Cookies.
