Jayhawks who are new to the Hill this August can beat the heat Aug. 18 at our annual Ice Cream Social during Hawk Week. This annual event, a prelude to Traditions Night, helps freshmen get acquainted with the Alumni Association and other new students. Meantime, our summer events continue throughout the state and in KU communities nationwide.

The summer edition of our KU Connection e-newsletter highlighted the season’s achievements on the Hill. We’ll feature additional news from Mount Oread in our back-to-school issue this August.

Back-to-school means the Jayhawks soon will be back in Memorial Stadium. Beginning Aug. 30, you can witness another remarkable season of KU football. Join Jayhawk friends and fans for Game Day at the Adams Tailgates, where you’ll enjoy great food and KU camaraderie.
