Advertising Rates


 

General rate policy

Advertisers will be billed at the next lowest frequency rate if within a 12-month period they do not use the number of insertions upon which their billings have been based. Advertisers will be rebated if within a 12-month period they have used sufficient insertions to earn a lower rate than that at which they have been billed.

Proper notification will be given of any rate changes, and contracts may be canceled at the time the change in rate becomes effective without incurring a short-rate adjustment if the contract rate has been earned up to the date of cancellation.

Advertising is allowed only on covers (inside front, inside/outside back), opposite the editor’s page and in the Sports and Class Notes sections, with the possible exception of inserts placed at the discretion of the publisher. Advertisements are full-color. Ads are placed at the discretion of the publisher except where a request for a specific preferred position is acknowledged (a 10% fee may apply).

Agency Commission: 15% of gross billing to recognized agencies. Not allowed after 60 days. Publisher’s production services are not commissionable.

Cancellation Policy

No cancellations accepted after applicable closing date of publication.
