Event Descriptions
Chapter Events
Approved chapter events are a perfect opportunity for prospective students and parents to interact with alumni and friends. Such a contact indicates that you appreciate your KU education and want to continue the experience through others. Be sure to welcome and recognize these special guests.
Letter-Writing Campaigns
Work with the Office of Admissions and Scholarships to send follow-up letters to students from your area who have recently attended a college fair or recruitment event.
Jayhawk Generations Welcome Picnic
Our final chance to welcome incoming freshmen and transfer students before they become part of our KU family, this is a great way to end the summer. Alumni can offer advice to new students and parents, and students can get excited about attending KU.
Support the Office of Admissions and Scholarships
KU recruits students throughout the country and University representatives can always use an extra hand. Encourage your chapter members to volunteer to sit on alumni panels, host receptions or simply meet and greet prospective students for the Office of Admissions and Scholarships.
