Get involved with KU in your community! Chapters, which are officially chartered by the Alumni Association, gather alumni across the country for watch parties, golf tournaments, wine tastings, young alumni networking events, student recruitment activities and more.

Watch sites
Need a KU-friendly watering hole to watch the game? At more than 100 watch sites across the country, alumni and friends gather to root for the Crimson and Blue and watch televised KU games.

Jayhawks for Higher Education
Help KU make its case in Topeka. Jayhawks for Higher Education advocate the needs of the University and higher education to the Kansas State Legistature.

Current students

Student Alumni Association
Future alumni can join the KU Alumni Association too! SAA members are current KU student members of the Alumni Association and receive their own membership packets, including a T-shirt, pint glass, cinch sack and discounts to local merchants such as 10 percent off of Kaplan classes and merchandise at KU Bookstores.

Student Alumni Leadership Board
SALB is a student organization created for Student Alumni Association members who want to promote KU spirit, pride and tradition, and become active in the Alumni Association. SALB members serve as the volunteer corps of the Alumni Association. They sponsor campus events, complete community service projects and assist at Association activities. SALB also offers leadership development opportunities at national conferences.

Prospective students

Kansas Honors Program
Each year the Kansas Honors Program recognizes the top 10 percent of high school seniors throughout the state. This year, the program will honor its 100,000th student.

Jayhawk Generations
Incoming freshmen and transfer students are honored at welcome picnics throughout the state and in cities across the country. In addition, the Alumni Association features on its website a tribute to incoming freshmen who are the second, third, fourth or fifth consecutive KU generations in their families (a parent or grandparent must be an Association member). The Association has highlighted "Jayhawk Generations" since the 1920s.
