Greetings, Jayhawks!
Welcome to our new and improved Web site, and thank you for your interest in 2010 KU Homecoming! This year’s Homecoming Steering Committee has been hard at work, planning events like the Jayhawk Jog and Homecoming Parade, and can't wait for the week to begin next fall. The events officially begin on Monday, October 18, will feature the football game against Texas A&M on Saturday at Memorial Stadium and conclude with the Jayhawk Jog on Sunday, October 24. In keeping with this year’s theme, Robert Eaton, chairman emeritus of DaimlerChrysler Corporation, will serve as grand marshal. Click here to read his biography.
The spirit and enthusiasm around Homecoming has been a KU tradition since 1912, when the football team defeated the Missouri Tigers in front of 9,000 Jayhawk fans. We hope that Homecoming 2010 will be no different. The 2010 Homecoming Steering Committee has planned new events and scheduled old favorites, with the hopes of building on strong tradition and boosting Jayhawk spirit and morale. We're excited for another successful Homecoming Week, and look forward to seeing campus and community participation in all of the week’s events.

Please feel free to contact the Homecoming Steering Committee with any questions, ideas or suggestions for this year’s Homecoming. You can e-mail us at homecoming@ku.edu, or visit the Contact page to e-mail a specific event chair.
Thanks again for your interest in Homecoming 2010. We look forward to seeing you October 18-24!
Rock Chalk!
