roundup

As proud Jayhawks, we are especially fortunate to have benefited from the Kansas higher education system and participate in great University of Kansas traditions. One of those traditions is the annual Jayhawk Roundup in Wichita.

The Roundup has become the largest KU event hosted by the KU Alumni Association in Wichita, attracting hundreds of alumni and friends. The evening consists of dinner, drinks, dancing and a silent auction full of distinctive KU and non-KU items. Entertainment will be provided by 3 Ring Circus, a show band featuring a variiety of instruments and costume changes for your watching, listening and dancing enjoyment.

In keeping with the Alumni Association’s mission to strengthen KU, proceeds from the 2009 Roundup are being used to enhance outstanding alumni programs. These include student recruitment activities and career networking events in Wichita, along with the powerful alumni lobbying program—Jayhawks for Higher Education. These programs engage alumni, assist in attracting talented young Kansans to KU, and support other advocacy efforts on behalf of the University. We are proud of the Alumni Association’s outreach across Kansas, and with your help we will continue to expand these important efforts. Find out how you can help sponsor this year's Jayhawk Roundup.
