Association members can access three databases within KU Libraries. These resources include the latest scholarly information in many areas of academic study, full-text business magazines and journals, and comprehensive, yet concise summaries of the best business books available.

Academic Search Alumni Edition

Designed for the academic-based research needs of the post-college professional, this database provides full text for thousands of peer-reviewed journals—as well as thousands of peer-reviewed indexed and abstracted journals.  Additionally, many popular magazines are included in this database for general interest pursuits.

Business Source Alumni Edition

This database provides more than 1,390 full-text business magazines and journals, of which over 650 are peer-reviewed. Business Source Alumni Edition includes publications in nearly every area of business including marketing, management, MIS, POM, accounting, finance, econometrics, economics and more. Business Source Alumni Edition includes full-text sources ranging from general periodicals to trade publications and top management journals. Additionally there are over 29,000 full-text records, which include country economic reports, industry reports, market research reports, company profiles and more.

Business Book Summaries

This database keeps researchers abreast of the latest in business intelligence and trends by providing comprehensive, yet concise summaries for the best business books available. This remarkable resource produces summaries of 1,800 of the top business books from a wide range of important subject areas.

All books covered by Business Book Summaries (BBS) are summarized by professionals. The most salient points are extracted and conceptualized into brief, but comprehensive, summaries. By presenting key concepts and relevant business thoughts, people with no time to read the entire book can retain valuable information and apply it to their jobs.
