Start making your travel plans now, Jayhawks!
“Roll with the ’Hawks” was selected by the student-led Homecoming Steering Committee as the theme for the 2014 Homecoming celebration, which will begin Sunday, Sept. 21. The week-long celebration features daily activities leading up to the KU-Texas football game Saturday, Sept. 27.
Following the success of the 2013 Homecoming parade in downtown Lawrence, the parade will once again take place on Massachusetts Street. This year’s parade will be held on Friday, Sept. 26, at 6 p.m.
Ten students are selected each year to serve on the steering committee, who work closely with Alumni Association staff members and advisers Paige Hofer, student programs coordinator, and Jacey Krehbiel, alumni programs coordinator.
Whether you just walked down the Hill as a member of the Class of 2014 or you recently celebrated your golden anniversary, we hope you’ll make your way back to Mount Oread and join us for Homecoming!
