Jacquelyn Pedigo, St. Lucia | www.kualumni.orgPedigo received a bachelor’s degree in communications and returned to the Hill in 2009, where she works as Outreach Coordinator for the KU School of Engineering while studying for her master’s degree in higher education administration.“To me, there is no place that feels more like ‘home’ than the University of Kansas,” she says.   “I get to walk around campus and feel this large, connected family around me that understands what it is like to be a Jayhawk and to feel that pride.”

For the engineering school, she visits high schools throughout the Midwest, recruiting students to KU. “Sharing my passion and then seeing those students come to KU and experience the Rock Chalk spirit makes every day worthwhile! There are still days when I step onto campus and see the beauty and the passion in the students and can’t help but think, ‘I am so lucky to work and go to school at the University of Kansas!’ ”
