Chiefs’ Marcus Peters gives away 300 coats to local youths for Christmas | Austin Statesman

Actor Paul Rudd, a Kansas City native and University of Kansas alumnus, helped hand out 300 winter coats at the inaugural Kansas City Christmas Coat Giveaway. Marcus Peters, the Kansas City Chiefs’ cornerback, partnered with the Gregg/Klice Community Center on the event.

VIVUS announces Thomas King as interim CEO | StreetInsider.com

The company announced that Thomas B. King, a current board member, will assume the role of interim CEO. King has been an independent biotechnology consultant since August 2016 and earned an MBA from the KU School of Business.

KU graduate again nominated for federal judgeship | LJWorld.com

President Donald Trump resubmitted the nomination of Holly Lou Teeter to be a federal district judge for the District of Kansas. Teeter is a graduate of the University of Kansas School of Engineering as well as the School of Law, where she graduated first in her class and was a member of the Kansas Law Review.
