Lied Center announces new season lineup

Posted on May 7, 2014 in Campus News and News

The Lied Center announced its 2014-’15 season lineup on Sunday, April 27, at a special party that included food, drinks and live entertainment—and lots of social media activity.

Those who couldn’t attend the party in person could still feel like part of the action by following the Lied Center’s Twitter account, @liedcenterks, where staff members shared pictures, videos and teasers of the upcoming season’s performances.

The upcoming season includes performances by The Midtown Men, Vienna Boys Choir, the legendary Japanese taiko drumming group KODO and KU alumnus Mandy Patinkin, an acclaimed actor, singer and storyteller.

Tickets are currently on sale to Friends of the Lied members and KU students. Students can also buy a performance pass for $125 through Optional Campus Fees.

Ticket packages will be on sale to the general public—including Alumni Association members—from May 19-June 6. A party in the Lied Center lobby at 8 a.m. on June 9 will kick off single ticket sales.

Alumni Association members receive a 10% discount on single tickets to Lied Center series performances. Not a member? Join now to take advantage of this special benefit of membership!
