Spreading Jayhawk fever in Virginia

Sean Lanier, g’10, enjoys helping recruit students from the east coast to KU. Lanier, a proud Life Member of the KU Alumni Association, has volunteered at a college fair in Fairfax, Va., for two years in a row, and according to Kim Beeler, college fair and HAWK coordinator, he is a great representative for the university.

Alumni volunteers are crucial to the Office of Admissions’ recruitment efforts. Last year, volunteers helped staff 37 college fairs between August and October. This year, alumni have attended more than 70 college fairs.
