Former standout football player Todd Reesing, who wasn’t highly recruited out of high school in Texas, came to Kansas in a roundabout way—he visited Lawrence after attending a football camp in Manhattan.
“After seeing Manhattan and coming to Lawrence, there was no question in my mind that Lawrence was where I wanted to be,” said Reesing.
But it wasn’t all about football for Reesing, b’10. He recognized the importance of academics and getting a good education to prepare for life after athletics. “Having that education from Kansas was so important for me in being successful in life after college and life after sports, Reesing shares. He adds that staying connected to the Kansas community and network of Jayhawks is a huge priority.
