The University of Kansas School of Business, the Langston Hughes Center and Kansas Athletics present “The Power of Sport: A Conversation on Business, Race and Sports.”
Sports writer Kavitha A. Davidson will deliver the keynote address at the fifth annual event. The evening will also include a panel discussion.
Kavitha A. Davidson is a sports writer based in New York. Her most recent role was as a weekly columnist and feature writer for espnW and ESPN the Magazine. She previously wrote a daily sports column for Bloomberg with a heavy focus on the intersection of sports and business, culture, race, and gender. A native New Yorker, she attended Columbia University, where she was the sports editor of the Columbia Daily Spectator.
