Find a Mentor
Developing a relationship with a mentor is an opportunity to experience and learn from your mentor’s personal and professional experience, knowledge and skills. The one-on-one relationship provides individual attention to your career aspirations, professional development and networking needs.
While job opportunities may result from the relationship, mentees should not actively seek job opportunities from their mentor. Instead, cultivate a relationship that enables guidance and professional insight regarding your career field. Mentors are not required to provide job opportunities.
Students and alumni who wish to find a mentor must:
- Be a member of the KU Alumni Association or the Student Alumni Association.
- Review the KU Alumni Mentor Network’s Mentee FAQs and Guidelines.
