Basketball season tips off in Hawaii

The KU men’s basketball team has wrapped up two exhibition games against in-state opponents Washburn University and Emporia State University, and the 2016-17 season will tip off this Friday, Nov. 11, against Indiana in the State Farm Armed Forces Classic in Hawaii.

For Jayhawks heading to the islands for the game, be sure to join fellow KU alumni, fans and friends for the pregame party at Giovanni Pastrami, the official watch site of the KU Alumni Honolulu Network.

No reservation is necessary, just show up and join the party! The first game, Arizona vs. Michigan State, tips off at 2 p.m. HT, followed by KU vs. Indiana. If you don’t have tickets for the game, stay and watch it at Giovanni Pastrami.

The game will be televised on ESPN or you can listen to it on the Jayhawk Radio Network or Sirius/XM 80.
