The KU Pep Band and Spirit Squad will also perform.

The family-friendly event includes food, drinks, KU giveaways and inflatable games for the kids. Stay late for live music from the popular cover band SELLOUT!, which is scheduled to perform from 7 to 10 p.m.

If you’re a member of the KU Alumni Association or the Williams Education Fund, don’t forget to bring your membership card– coupons from Corinth Square vendors will be available when you show your card. You can also show a recent email from us that has a digital version of your card. Be sure to stop by the KU Alumni table and say hi to our staff members!

Fan Appreciation Day

Need more football? Make plans to attend Fan Appreciation Day on Saturday, Aug. 17, at Memorial Stadium. The Hy-Vee Hawk Zone, with inflatable games for kids, will be open from 9to 11 a.m. at the practice field adjacent to the stadium. Gates on the west side of the stadium will open at 10:45 a.m., and the football team will take the field at 11:15 for practice.

You may want to bring your camera to take pictures of the kids– but be advised that cameras aren’t allowed to be used in the stadium until practice is over.

After practice, coach Weis and members of the football team will sign autographs for 30 minutes. Promotional items will be available for the players to sign; anything brought from outside of the stadium will have to be signed with a personalized autograph.
